Camp
Captured by the Japanese Navy, the two airmen are caged and interrogated about American aircraft and bombsights.
Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands was a Japanese naval and air base, raided by American carriers on 1 February 1942 in one of the first US offensives of the Pacific War. Captured Allied airmen were held and some executed on a small island of the atoll. In early February 1944 the 7th Infantry and 4th Marine Divisions took the atoll in a week of fighting.
